How can we help?
Maeve Halpin is a Counselling Psychologist and Clinical Supervisor who is passionately interested in personal development, self-empowerment and the potential for positive living.
Maeve has over 20 years experience in the fields of psychology, education and management. With a background in Community and Voluntary Sector management, post-graduate lecturing and research supervision with Trinity College, community-based adult education, counselling and both clinical and organisational supervision, she brings a broad range of skills and experience to her work.
Maeve compiled the book “How to be Happy and Healthy – the Seven Natural Elements of Mental Health” to give people the tools to take control of their own mental health, decreasing dependence on doctors, chemists and medication alone. While professional medical help is often essential in the short term, developing the skills of healthy living, self-awareness and mindful self-care means that the potential for psychological independence and emotional freedom is available to everyone.
