Introduction to Wellness

At the Iveagh practice, Dublin we recognise there are many strands to wellbeing; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual — thus wellness requires a nuanced and varied approach.

Sometimes we may feel the need to talk about our deeper issues with a trained psychotherapist in Dublin, or make a plan for our future with a life coach. Sometimes the right thing for our wellbeing is to work through our energetics blocks with an acupuncturist, amatsu body worker or an energy healer.

Many of these disciplines contain much ancient wisdom and understanding of our energetic systems and how we need to live more holistically to really feel well. How our mind, body and the environment we live in are intimately connected and trauma and stress from being out of balance in any of these areas affects us at many levels.

Regardless of which path we take towards health and wellness, the outcome we are reaching for is the same, a relaxed sense of well-being in our bodies, a sense of authorship and agency within our lives, and a feeling of belonging and connection in our communities and to our spiritual selves.
