Low Cost Therapy Dublin
A Warm, Supportive Space to Talk
We know that starting psychotherapy can feel daunting. Many people worry about what to say, whether their problems are “big enough,” or if psychotherapy will really help. You don’t need to have everything figured out — just showing up is enough.
Our psychotherapists offer a warm, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and be met with understanding, empathy, and respect. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on for you and gently work toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional wellbeing.

What low cost therapy means here
Affordable therapy should not mean a lesser service. Low cost sessions take place in the same rooms as every other session at The Iveagh Practice. The therapists give you the same care and attention. The only difference is the fee, which is reduced.
The fee works on a sliding scale. It is typically between €35 and €50 a session, depending on your circumstances and the therapist's availability. If money is tight, say so when you get in touch.
If you have been searching for cheap therapy in Dublin, we would rather call it what it is: good therapy at a fee that is easier to manage. You do not have to choose between looking after your mental health and looking after your budget.
Low cost counselling or low cost psychotherapy?
Many people looking for low cost counselling in Dublin are not sure which they need, and that is fine. In everyday use the two overlap a great deal. Both are a confidential space to talk things through with a trained professional who listens without judging.
Counselling often focuses on a particular difficulty or a stage of life, such as stress, a relationship ending, or a bereavement. Psychotherapy tends to look a little deeper at patterns that have been with you for longer. You do not need to decide before you begin. Your therapist will talk it through with you.

Where we are
We have two centres in Dublin 2, in the heart of the city and a few minutes' walk from Grafton Street and George's Street. They are at 13 Fade Street, Dublin 2 and 37 Wexford Street, Dublin 2.
If you are looking for low cost counselling in south Dublin, we are easy to reach from the city centre and from Dublin 8 and Dublin 6.
We are open seven days a week, with evening appointments during the week. That helps if you work or study during the day. Please note that both buildings are reached by stairs only, as there is no lift.
Taking the first step
Reaching out is often the hardest part. You do not need to know exactly what is wrong, or how to put it into words. A few honest lines to a therapist are enough to begin.
Take your time with the therapists below. When one feels like a good fit, get in touch with them. If you would like to ask a general question first, you can contact us.
