Our Services
How can we help?
At the Iveagh Practice, Dublin we offer online therapy sessions to clients who may find it more convenient to see a psychotherapist online.
Online therapy has become an easier, safer and popular option for people due to Covid. You may prefer to start with your counsellor online and move to face to face sessions at a later date or depending on your circumstances it may suit you longer term to stay online.
For many online psychotherapy can be just as effective as in person counselling. All our psychotherapists and counsellors are highly trained and have a lot of experience with holding online sessions so you can get the support you need in difficult times in the comfort and safety of your own home.
Online counselling may be a more practical option for you, you don’t have to travel so it may suit you if you live in a remote area as the sessions can be more easily integrated into your schedule. If you live in a village, online counselling can give you more anonymity if you don’t wish to go to a local psychotherapist. It may feel less intimidating to speak to someone online rather than in person. For many it can be a good introduction and a way of getting comfortable with therapy before transitioning to in person counselling.
We use either Zoom or Skype for online sessions, upon booking an appointment your therapist will email you a link to your appointment.
