Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
Anna is a Senior Trainee at the Irish Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, providing low-cost psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Iveagh Practice on Wexford Street.
Anna has a particular interest in how early life experiences, combined with wider social circumstances - including ethnicity, gender, and experiences of poverty or discrimination - shape the psyche and influence unconscious patterns of being in the world and relating to others.
Anna supports individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, depression, grief, or low self-worth. Anna works with people navigating emotional difficulties, relationship challenges, life transitions, or a general sense of feeling stuck in life.
Anna offers a reflective, compassionate, and non-judgemental space in which clients can begin to explore unconscious blockages and painful emotions at their own pace.
She holds MSc in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the School of Medicine, TCD and PhD in Sociology from University of Wrocław, Anna is also a lecturer in Social Science and Sociology.
Anna provides psychotherapy in both English and Polish.
