Fionnuala Morrin
I am a professionally trained Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist, accredited by the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). I have several years’ experience working with adults in private practice and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) settings.
My approach is relational, humanistic and integrative, drawing on person-centred, psychodynamic and Gestalt therapies. I work collaboratively with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, life transitions and other challenges that may impact their well-being.
At the heart of my practice is the belief that therapy is a collaborative process, where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment. I aim to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, acceptance and compassion, allowing you to work at your own pace and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
I view psychotherapy as a potential corrective emotional experience, where the therapeutic relationship can provide an opportunity to access your innate wisdom and capacity for growth and healing.
Through curiosity, creativity and openness, I aim to support you in developing your inner resources, resilience and self-understanding, helping you feel better equipped to navigate life’s challenges. Together, we can explore what may be getting in the way of this process and identify pathways towards meaningful change.
I offer one-to-one psychotherapy sessions both in person and online.
